There are only limited Instances where injunctions are granted in adjudication proceedings. The Technology and Construction Court’s recent decision in MillChris Developments v Waters is therefore unsurprising.
In this case the court rejected a building contractor’s arguments that the Covid-19 lockdown announced on the evening of 23 March justified the grant of an interim injunction to prohibit its homeowner client from pursuing the adjudication that she had commenced earlier the same day.
