Rebecca’s clients value in particular:

  • her positive, enthusiastic and down-to-earth approach and avoidance of legalistic jargon
  • the ease with which she grasps the client’s perspective
  • the tenacity with which she seeks the fulfilment of the client’s key priorities and
  • the transparency of her pricing and service delivery.

She trained and qualified as a solicitor into a market-leading construction and engineering practice in London in 2006. Seven years later, she and her family moved out to Suffolk when Rebecca joined one of East Anglia’s larger law firms in 2013 to spend most of the next seven years building its commercial construction practice. She was promoted from Associate, to Senior Associate, Head of Business Development (Commercial Team) and Head of Construction before leaving in November 2019 to fulfil her professional goal of creating and developing her own niche legal firm.

Rebecca Palmer advises clients from all sectors of the construction and engineering industries (including developers, contractors, subcontractors, consultants and banks) regarding procurement strategy, project management, contract administration and the drafting and negotiation of development agreements, funding agreements, building contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties and related documentation.

Outside of work Rebecca (like most of her clients!) enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She is a keen crafter who likes long country walks, running a local children’s choir and assuming the role of safeguarding officer at the local cricket club. When time allows, she can be found watching live music, gardening or playing the piano.
